Review Time - Revolution Makeup Reloaded Palettes

Introducing Revolution Makeup Reloaded Palettes in Iconic Division and Iconic Fever. These two palettes have been in my collection for a while now, and it is safe to say that they are going to be staying right where they are. I purchased these from the TAM Beauty website (UK site), but these are now available from Beauty Bliss (NZ site) for $12.00.
Talk about bang for your buck!

They have a huge range of colour range with these palettes with warm and cool colour schemes, ones to suit everyone! The quality of these palettes is very impressive. The pigmentation is something you would expect from a high-end palette, just without the high-end price - booya! The mattes blend very easily and don't skip, the shimmers are stunning with a wet brush (this is how I always apply shimmers anyway) and there is a great balance between shimmers and matte shades. There are plenty of transition shades with a few in-between and then darker shades too. With 15 shades in each palette, the number of different looks you could create is truely endless!

Below are some finger swatches from both palettes - the top four are from the top palette and the bottom four are from the bottom palette. The shimmer shades swatch beautifully, the mattes aren't so good with finger swatches. I find that for matte shadows, a finger swatch often doesn't do the shadow justice in my experience.

I would truely recommend these palettes to anyone. Great for someone starting out in makeup as you don't need to pay an arm and a leg for a quality palette. For someone who is wanting to experience with different colours, another great option with the highly pigmented shadows and price point, you wouldn't regret it (my exact reasoning for getting the Iconic Division palette). Even for a person with a lot of makeup experience, these palettes are a must-have. I would more than happily put these into my freelance makeup kit, that's how much I like them.
